You asked about my watermarks...
I just do mine on Picnik.com, which is a free online editing program, it works pretty good.
I've also used gimp, which I downloaded for free at gimp.com which is how I also do my web designing, it works good for watermarks, too, but I like using picnik the best because I can to my watermarks and editing all in one shot, plus it's a little faster.
