Thankful Thursday {#7}

1. God wonderful creations! They are soo amazing! Im so glad he has a great imagination! :)

2. Tickle fights with my sister. Oh man no words to describe it! 

3. Sun sets. Bon fires. The beach. But them together and it equals greatness! 

4. Fiestas! Im going to my work fiesta tonight. Cant wait for the tacos! Authentic mexican tacos. Yum!

5. Christian athletes. They are soo courageous and great! Here are a few...

Well those are a few things im thankful for on this fine August day. Sorry i got this post up a little late :) If you missed tuesdays post dont forget to check it out!

Do you have the courage... to tell the world?

Here we are another time. Another day. Another post. But what is it all for? 

Is it so we can have lots of followers? 

Is it so we get lots of comments? 

Is it because we have nothing else to do?

 Is it because we just like to write?

 Is it so we can share our photographs?

 Is it because we want to feel in with the crowd?

But most importantly is it a place where all the glory goes up to God?

Here on my blog. My little corner of the interwebs. I hope all the glory goes up to God. I hope that you all can see that I love and serve the creator of the universe. 

Some people think that one day they will be able to tell the whole world that "all the glory goes up to God". They are waiting for the day when the whole world is watching to say 

"I give all the glory to God!"

Gabby had the courage to say it.

She had the world watching. 

 She said what she believes. 

She gave all the glory to God.

Lolo Jones had the courage to say this after getting 4th in the 100m hurdles.

 She thanks the Lord in the midst of her pain.

She cries out for comfort and healing.

She tells the world she believes in the Lord Jesus.

Would you have the courage?

The courage to tell the world that you believe?

The courage to tell your town?

The courage to tell your school?

The courage to tell your friends?

The courage to write it on your blog? 

Im taking the step. 

To tell the world.

To tell my town.

To tell my school.

To write it on my blog.

I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

I believe He created the universe.

I believe He is coming again.

I believe He has a purpose for each and everyones life. 

I believe He loves me and you like no one else could.

I believe He is Lord.

I believe we all should stand together and tell the world

Tell our towns.

Tell our schools.

Tell our readers.

Tell our friends.

That He is lord

That He does live today.

That he is coming back again.

That he loves US.

That he has a plan for US. 

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

-Jeremiah 29:11-

Dont wait till your in the olympics or your famous.

Cause really how many of us are acualy going to have the whole world watching?

But we do have people watching.

Our friends are watching.

Our school is watching.

Our readers are watching.

Our families are watching.

So lets tell them, the people who are watching.

That He is lord

That He does live today.

That He is coming back again.

That He loves them.

That He has a plan for them. 

He has a plan for you.

 A plan for me.

A plan for the world.

Will you join me in telling the world?

Our schools.

Our families.

Our readers.

Our friends.

Have the courage.

Take the step.

Write the post.

Tell the world.

The Bible

"This book reveals the mind of God, the state of man, the way. Of salvation, the doom of sinners And the happiness of believers. 

Its doctrines are holy, it's precepts are binding, it's histories are true and Its decisions are immutable.

Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you and comfort to cheer you! 

It is the travelers map, the pilgrims staff, the pilots compose, the solders sword and the Christians charter. Here, too heaven is opened and the gates of hell disclosed.

Christ is the grand subject, our good it's design and the glory of God it's end.

It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently, playfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory and a river of pleasure.

It is given you in life, will be open to judgment and be remembered forever. It involves highest responsibility, will reward the greatest labour and condemn all who trifle it's sacred contents. 

Owned, it is riches. Studied it is wisdom, trusted it is salvation, loved it is character and obeyed it is power."

I saw this in a gideon bible, ya know those bibles in hotels? Well anyway i read this and i really like it!!! 

Sorry about the lack of posts :( I'v been really busy lately, doing school work, going on a youth retreat, staying at Mt. Baker for thanksgiving, going nerd bowling and watching my HS football team win state! If you want to here more about these things you'll just have to stay tuned.

Boys 4x400m Video

Here is the video of my brothers relay at the state meet, that I posted about on Sunday.

They are the team that has black shorts, green and yellow shirts with the  "L L"on the front.

State Track 2011!!!!!

So last weekend we went down to the State Track meet. Besides the rain the first day and a half it was AMAZING!!!! But also sad :( Because of the rain the batons in the relays were wet and slippery. So there were at least 6 dropped batons, not from our team but still sad for the other teams :(

 We had 5 guys run at the meet.

We had a lovely weekend!!!

Track Meet #1

On Wedesday I had my first track meet, it went well. I rained which was not fun, but it was good.

I got 5th out of 17 in the 100meter dash with a time of 14.69seconds 

I got 2nd out of 4 in the 200m dash with a time of 32.96seconds(not my best)

My team on the 4x100m got 2nd out of 4 teams with a time of of 60.22seconds
